In case you're not familiar with the classification of mental disorders, Manic Depressive Psychosis was rebranded in the 1980s as Bi-polar Affective Disorder. The only noticable effect was sufferers were branded BAD as well as mad. Don't panic, it's really a poem about a polar bear.

Professor Sir Douglas Templeman-Twist,
Arctic explorer and psychiatrist,
Discovered a bear with normal physiology,
But a quite remarkable psychological anomaly:
An affective psychosis in combination
With severe sexual disorientation.

He foresaw fame, fortune, public adulation,
As newspaper headlines proclaimed to the nation,
'Templeman-Twist, intrepid explorer
Finds the first bi bi-polar polar bear'
